How does the 'Refund Initiated' option in an Email Campaign work? NEW!
Refunds are a part of doing business on Amazon...but that doesn't mean you have to accept them lying down!
Try using Jump Send's Email Campaign 'Refund Initiated' feature to reach out to people who have put in a cancellation request for your product.
All you need to do to open the lines of communication with a disgruntled customer is to set up your campaign the way you normally would, and then add in one more crucial step:
- First, add the regular email templates, thanking your buyer for their purchase and/or asking them for their feedback.
- Next, add a new trigger by clicking the plus sign below the New Trigger option and select the Refunded trigger:
- You can then choose when you want the system to send this message. We highly recommend you set it as ASAP for the send time:
- Finally, click the blue 'Publish’ button at the bottom of the campaign page. Now you’re all set, ready to address your customers’ concerns:
But don't stop there! Crafting a great refund template goes a really long way to changing that customer's mind about canceling. Here’s an example of a ‘Refund Initiated’ email we created...feel free to use it as is, or tweak it so it better suits you and your company:
